My Favourite Liquid Foundations

My journey with make-up started probably about 9 or 10 years ago. I mostly just used BB creams and a little bit of mascara at that time but soon realized how much nicer it made my skin look even though I've never had any major skin issues apart from an occasional little spot here and there. Things changed dramatically after one particular stressful year. My skin broke out badly and I tried everything to help the situation. That was pretty much the time when I started to use liquid foundation (+ concealer) to cover those imperfections. Now my skin doesn't break out but I still have a little bit of scarring (+ a few tiny spots) left and need my medium coverage fix.
So here are my most used and repurchased time after time liquid foundation favourites.

1
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
[my shade: Beige Clair 53]

I love this foundation! It provides light to medium coverage and applies very smoothly. Your skin will "glow" (in a good way) and feel nicely moisturized. This foundation blends in well and it also smells amazing (summer'y and fruit'y)! It reminds me of Chanel Vitalumiere but it is definitely more affordable (only £10.99 in Boots). This foundation will always be making a come-back into my make-up bag.

2
L’oreal Paris Nude Magique Eau De Teint
[my shade: Nude Beige]

Smooth and silky texture of this liquid foundation is amazing. It goes on easily and helps you conceal the redness and does well on dry flaky bits. Depending on the season/weather/unknown mysterious reasons, my skin goes either super oily or super dry. However, this foundation never disappoints and provides great coverage. It stays on for hours as well! The only drawback could be the lack of the applicator/dropper but it shouldn't put you off - it's an amazing product for only £9.99 in Boots. Definitely a steal!

Make Up For Ever HD Foundation
[my shade: Soft Beige 140]

One of my all-time faves! It doesn't feel thick but it gives amazing coverage and what's most important - it doesn't "cake up". It looks fab 8 hours after application (tried and tested). I remember the first time I tried it was for a wedding (bridesmaid duty) and I had my make-up done professionally. I fell in love with the texture and how well it hid all those little imperfections. It's £29 at Debenhams which is a bit pricey but it is worth it! P.S. Currently I have my eye on Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation - would love to try it!

4
MAC Pro Longwear SPF10 Foundation
[my shade: NC25]

This is my FOREVER NO.1 liquid foundation and it just might always rank top of the top in my books! I can not rave enough how much I love it and how happy I am with it. It is definitely longwear and it can take on any weather and any climate. The texture is smooth and it is super easy to apply; its buildable and provides medium to good full coverage. My skin loves this bottle of goodness to bits! MAC sells it for £25.50 and I have just repurchased it recently. I try not to use it every day and go for High Street make-up on a day to day basis but when I mix it up with MAC you can tell the difference - it is just flawless. #iwokeuplikethis
As you can see, I have started using my Pro Longwear pretty much as soon as I opened the packaging :)

Hope you enjoyed this post. I loved sharing my faves with you girlies.
Please leave a comment and let me know what your favourite foundations are because I would definitely love to try them.
