Holiday Recap: What I Wore In Gran Canaria

2015 was truly amazing, especially the very end of it when hubby and I were
EasyJet’ed off to warm and wonderful Gran Canaria. It was one of the best and
most relaxing holidays. You can imagine the shock of the 7 degrees Celsius (low
40s F) when we walked out of the plane at 1 am after having landed in London
Gatwick. Brrr! This photo of me wrapped up in a towel is not one of the
outfits. However, it is nice to wrap up and cover those burnt shoulders after
beach bummin’ all day every day 🙂 I hope you will enjoy reading this post
as well as having a sneak peak at some of the outfits I wore on holiday.

can’t go wrong with wearing a striped top at the seaside. I am also a big
supporter of anything comfortable, so one evening I opted for this black
and white striped tank top from Charlotte Russe (bought a few years ago) and
light minty jeans from Colins Jeans (similar
 here). I also could
spend hours and hours (and hours) comfortably wearing my black suede
Monsoon mid
court shoes with cute subtle buckles on the back.

One day
it was so hot I was happy I packed this super light little number from Bershka
(purchased a few summers ago and worn twice, probably). I couldn’t find the
link to it because they might not have it in stock any more. On that day we
went to explore a beautiful quaint village Puerto de Mogán.
Flip flops saved the day because we did a lot of walking.

OUTFIT #3 &4

Do you
also wear a lot of white when you’re on holiday/vacation? It is definitely my
staple summer colour. Therefore, these two outfits must go together 🙂 My tank
top is from Rip Curl (similar
here), white jeans are GAP and my
favourite and most-worn flip flops are from
Roxy. The top below is
from Reserved.

If you
have been reading my blog for at least a few weeks now, you might have seen
this lovely maxi dress in my
Let The Holiday Begin post. I am absolutely in love with it. My (then future)
hubby got it for me last year before our honeymoon from
Lulu’s. The
print is beautiful and feminine, and the dress is flowy and light. It’s got a
little split on the right thigh and it’s backless (but not too deep).

I hope
you enjoyed this post and got to feel a little warmer and summer’y on this
chilly day if it is, of course, chilly today where you are 🙂 We had such an
amazing time away but it’s great to be back. Sometimes routine is actually a
nice thing. Also, I am glad to be back to blogging and will stick to my posting
schedule of at least 3 posts a week. Though I am aiming for 4 this upcoming
week or maybe even 5 – I just need extra 24 hours in a day 😉

Leave a comment and
let me know which outfit you liked the most.
