36 weeks of loving you🤰🏼🥰👶🏼💖
A few (jokey but real) things from these few weeks leading up to being full term:
〰️ turning in bed doesn’t only wake ME up but the whole household
〰️ if something falls on the floor, it doesn’t exist to me any more
〰️ 3-4 showers a day in this heat became the new norm
〰️ riding that emotional rollercoaster with the due date approaching fast, often dreaming about labour and waking up a lot
〰️ nesting has been kicking in big time and I’ve been itching to clean everything in my eyeshot
〰️ my energy levels are running low: 15min of tidying are followed by a 30-min sit-down sessions with an episode of Selling Sunset
〰️ my hands & feet sometimes balloon up which is a nice reminder to rest and elevate (something I’ve learnt so well from my #lisfrancrecovery journey)
▪️All in all, jokes asides, I am so thankful for a smooth pregnancy. It’s honestly been absolutely incredible! I would do this over and over again 🥰
Yes, even in this heat! 😅
Enjoying whatever time I have left with the bump - it’s blissful 😌🙌🏼
👶🏼 Baby girl is measuring spot on and is continuing putting on the weight she will need for her arrival. We are all set and ready for her. Can’t wait to see her sweet face, hold her and shower her with love ♥️

Don’t know why it’s taken me so long to share the news here (because so many already know 😉) but better late than never ☺️🎀
We are having a baby girl 🥳💖🥳💖🥳💖
What a happy and excited mama-to-be this little love of ours is making me 🥰
This weekend has been so perfect! 💖💖💖
I got to have the dreamiest maternity photoshoot with my husband at the sea side 🤰🏼
And then our little girl and I were absolutely spoiled at the baby shower so kindly and perfectly planned and organised by my sweet mother-in-law 💖
Seeing family & friends was just exactly what my heart needed 🥰
This little break in Northern Ireland has been blissful 🙏🏼
Especially after all the challenges that came with being pregnant during the pandemic, the lockdown and not seeing our loved ones.
So happy & thankful 🥰🥰🥰

We are in Northern Ireland right now but here’s a little #bumpdate from our bedroom in Chester 😊
So happy to be here and catch up with family and friends, especially since we haven’t seen them since Christmas due to the pandemic + lockdown. Happy happy heart 🥰
Also, I’m finally going to share the gender of our little one very very soon - we are having a very special shoot tomorrow 🥰💖💙
Some people who follow me here already know 😉
But before I do...
Let’s play a little BOY or GIRL game based on “old wives tales” 😅
1️⃣ Sweet vs savoury.
Craving sweet treats: girl. Craving savoury treats: boy. I’ve been craving savoury stuff throughout the pregnancy: 💙
2️⃣ Morning sickness.
Suffering from bad nausea: girl. Not suffering from nausea too much: boy. My nausea ended at 8 weeks & never returned: 💙
3️⃣ Baby’s heart rate.
Slower than 140bpm: boy. Higher: girl. Our baby’s heart rate has always been higher than 140: 💖
4️⃣ Frequent headaches.
Sore head often: boy. No headaches: girl. I haven’t had many headaches at all: 💖
5️⃣ Skin.
Glowy/healthy skin: boy. Lots of breakouts: girl. I’ve had very clear skin for the first two trimesters and now have a bit of acne: 💙💖
There are many more of these but you get an idea 😅
They are definitively all over the show.

Week 33 aka pineapple week (baby is the size of a pineapple) 😄🤰🏼🍍👶🏼
I had such a great appointment with my midwife yesterday. Feeling so positive about labour 🥰
Before I got pregnant I was always terrified of the thought of giving birth, and now I can’t wait.
I know it’s not a walk in the park but I am also making sure I’m staying positive about it.
My midwife and I chatted quite a bit about hypnobirthing. She compared it to the mental prep & pep talks professional athletes get before the big game 😄💪🏼
I don’t know how my labour is going to go but I will try and do my best to be in the right head space, trusting it will all go super smoothly 😊🙏🏼
6 weeks (or less) to go & we will meet our sweet baby 🥰
